RCC’s health and safety protocols incorporate the CDC’s updated COVID-19 guidance. RCC community members are no longer required to quarantine when exposed to COVID-19; rather, you should wear a high-quality mask for 10 days and get tested on day five (5).
A COVID-19 VACCINATION IS REQUIRED for students attending in-person classes and/or visiting campus for in-person services.

Requests for reasonable accommodation, including requests for a medical or religious accommodation, will be considered consistent with applicable laws, legal guidance, and College policy.
Reasonable accommodation requests should be submitted electronically. Please download the Student Reasonable Accommodation Form, complete all fields, and send your completed form to COVID-19@rcc.varinayouthsports.net. We know that there’s a lot of information available on vaccines, and we respect that the decision on whether or not to get vaccinated is a deeply personal choice. Remember that in addition to consulting with your PCP, the CDC and MA DPH have scientific, non-partisan information on the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Massachusetts Community Colleges’ system-wide COVID-19 vaccine verification requirement for students, full- and part-time employees including faculty and staff, contract and/or hourly employees, interns, and volunteers (regardless of whether work assignments are online or in-person), as well as consultants that have a regular presence on campus and/or routinely interact with students and/or employees, as determined by the College, are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit written proof of an official record of full vaccination status.
Certain other individuals, including vendors, and other business/governmental invitees may be required to be vaccinated. Please view the full employee vaccination policy on HR’s SharePoint site for detail.
The Massachusetts Community Colleges’ system-wide COVID-19 vaccine verification requirement for students and employees will take effect this January. The employee vaccination policy effective for our 15 colleges which requires all employees to provide written proof of full vaccination status by January 3, 2022, absent an approved reasonable accommodation.
